- 6–8 saffron strands soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk (optional)
🔪 Instructions
- In a thick-bottomed pan, heat 1 tbsp ghee.
- Add vermicelli and roast on low-medium flame till light golden and aromatic.
- Add 4 cups of milk and bring it to a boil while stirring occasionally.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes until vermicelli is soft and the milk thickens slightly.
- Add sugar and mix well. Continue cooking for 5 more minutes.
- Add cardamom powder, saffron milk (if using), and dry fruits.
- Turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
